The Administrative Conference of the United States and the Georgetown Law Institute for Technology Law and Policy are pleased to announce the fourth and final panel in their virtual symposium on artificial intelligence in federal agencies.

This session will take place on Thursday, August 13 from 1:00 pm – 2:15 pm ET. Stephen Sanford, Director of the Center for Strategic Foresight at the Government Accountability Office will moderate a panel with current and former agency officials to discuss how their agencies currently use or contemplate using AI to support their missions and improve the government’s efficiency and effectiveness.

The third panel discussed implicit bias in AI used by the government and how the government can stop bias in private-sector AI. The second panel discussed challenges and opportunities in the intersection between artificial intelligence and core administrative law doctrines. The first panel discussed the research leading to the publication of Government by Algorithm: Artificial Intelligence in Federal Administrative Agencies.
