In this webinar, you will hear the perspectives of current and former investigators about how congressional investigations work, their importance to Congress, the authorities that some or all committees have and exercise when conducting investigations, and recent developments in the field. The panelists will discuss such recent developments as the Mazars and McGahn cases and their impacts on the balance of power between Congress and the Executive Branch and on congressional investigations more broadly.
