ABA Adlaw Section Report to the President-Elect on “Improving the Administrative Process”
In the summer of 2016, the ABA Section of Administrative Law & Regulatory Practice prepared and approved a report with recommendations to the next President-Elect, titled “Improving the Administrative Process”. The recommendations of that 2016 report remain of interest, and the report remains available online, here, as well as at 69 Administrative Law Review 205-224 (Winter 2017). This was the third and most recent in a series of such Section reports from prior presidential elections that involved two non-incumbent candidates, so the 2016 report to this point remains the most recent and operative set of recommendations. (The previous such report from 2008 is available here, and an earlier one from 2000 is available here.) The 2016 Report was also the topic of a Symposium here at the Notice & Comment website.
