The 12th Annual Administrative Law and Regulatory Practice Institute (Institute) begins one week from today.  The Institute is hosted by the Section of Administrative Law and Regulatory Practice and sponsor, The Regulatory Group.

This year’s Institute, which is chaired by John F. Cooney, Partner at Venable LLP and Vice-Chair of the Section, will take place March 14 – 15, 2015 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. The program kicks off with the traditional half day Rulemaking 101 sessions on the rulemaking process and judicial review of rules. The March 15 full-day program will include the following panels: Congressional Interest in Regulatory Reform, The Future of Deference, Congressional Supervision of Executive Lawmaking, and Balance Through Power: Effective Congressional Oversight of the Executive Branch, among others.
