Widener Law Commonwealth, located in Pennsylvania’s capital, Harrisburg, is looking for a new dean.

WLC is built upon a government law/public service mission.  We are looking for our next leader who will help us advance this mission. WLC is a great community of faculty, staff, students, and alumni who are dedicated to public service and improving government law.

Our faculty enhance the public-service mission. WLC is home to leaders in election law, immigration law, state- and local-government law, environmental law, criminal justice, and business law, among other fields of study. WLC faculty are members of the American Law Institute, the Uniform Law Commission, and key leaders in the American Association of Law Schools, the American Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

The School’s community takes pride in its connections to Pennsylvania state government. The School’s students and faculty are in constant interaction with policymakers through the School’s specialized programs. The Law and Government Institute, Environmental Law and Sustainability Center and the Business Advising Program each provide students with the opportunity to earn a certificate in a concentrated area of study at graduation, an opportunity to delve into cutting edge legal issues, and chances to interact with legal and policy leaders through public programming.

The Harrisburg area is a great place to live and includes the fastest growing county in Pennsylvania.
